Join the Club

Drug Awareness · Peer Leadership · Wellness · Advocacy

In the club, you’ll grow as a leader, learn about the dangers of drugs, look out for your well-being and your peers, and use your voice to make a difference. You’ll help plan fun and meaningful events, make your school a better place, and set a positive example for others — all while being part of a team that advocates for a drug-free lifestyle. Stick with us for one year and you’ll earn a graduation cord. Stay involved for two or more years, and you’ll receive a graduation stole to celebrate your commitment and leadership!

What You Need to Know

Meetings & Activities

Meetings are held twice a month during lunchtime to plan and implement drug awareness activities on campus

Get Involved: Volunteer

High School Club Officers and members must complete 10 hours of volunteer service during the school year. Volunteer service hours can be earned through school-based activities, local community non-profits, or the City’s Volunteer Engagement Opportunities.

Is this Club for You?

Students who want to learn about the risks of drug use, develop strong leadership skills, get creative by organizing fun and meaningful activities, give back through volunteer service, serve as positive role models, and promote a drug-free lifestyle among their peers will thrive in the DFY in SCV Club.
