Parenting For Prevention

Raising Awareness, Building Life Skills, and Promoting Wellness Since 2012

Our Story

Since 2012

Since 2012, The Drug Free Youth in Santa Clarita (DFY in SCV) has provided a free, school-based drug prevention program for Elementary, Junior High, and High School students in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to raise awareness on the dangers of drugs, build life skills and confidence to say “no” to drugs, and promote wellness for healthier, drug-free lives.

Campus Outreach

Throughout the school year, the DFY in SCV Drug Prevention team engages with campuses across all Santa Clarita Valley school districts—bringing drug awareness presentations, student-led activities, and prevention resources directly into schools. Serving 36 elementary schools, 7 junior high schools, and 9 high schools within the William S. Hart District.
